Centre CAP is a private CRO (Clinical Research Organization) located in Montpellier, involved in many Phase I and II clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies.

The CAP Center also practice therapeutic education.

* Phase I : the study is conducted in healthy and patient volunteers and is designed to determine the tolerability and the pharmacologic action of a new drug.

* Phase II : first administration of a product on a limited number of patients, for a short period, in order to assess its tolerability, to test its therapeutical effectiveness and to demonstrate its short term side effects.
